Successfully complete 100% of the game (all coins collected) with all default characters to unlock Solid Snake as a skater.

All Secret Characters

Press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A, Start at the 'white' Konami screen. A scream from Danny Way will be heard to confirm correct code entry.

Unlockable Characters

Complete the game 100% (all coins collected) with all the default skaters and 1 edited skater, then highlight the respective character and press X to play as these special characters:
